Learn a little more about Corey and check out how he answered the questions below….

• Before working at USI what was your most unusual or interesting job that you had?
I worked at Cedar Point for 3 years, and there was always something interesting and unusual going on there!

• What are you currently binge watching?
I am currently watching Brooklyn 99.

• If you could have any superpower what would it be?
I would love to be able to go back and forward in time. Could you imagine going through parts of your life again with the knowledge you have now?

• If you could learn anything, what would it be?
I really wish I was multi-lingual. I have tried to learn a few different languages, but it’s never stuck.

• When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A baseball player for the Cleveland Indians.

• What is one food that you cannot resist?
Anything with potatoes. French fries, JoJo’s, mashed, scalloped, cheesy, baked, sweet, anything. If it has potatoes, I’m eating it.

• Where is your favorite place to be?
The Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. I love being in the mountains, but the Smoky Mountains are my favorite.

• What’s something you like to do the old-fashioned way?
Listen to music. I love my record player and have a collection of records that I’ll bring out when I’m in the mood.

• What is the best piece of advice that you have ever received?
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take – Wayne Gretsky” – Michael Scott. If you’re always afraid of a no or things not working out, you’ll never more forward.

• If you had 1 free hour each day, what would you do?
Something outside. Hiking, climbing, skiing, sitting with a cup of coffee, anything as long as it is outside.

• Do you have any strange phobias?
Not quite a phobia, but other peoples loose hairs really gross me out.

• If you could add one thing to the USI office, what would it be?
A full-service bar would be great.

• What has been your favorite project at USI?
I don’t know that I have one specific project that is my favorite, but anything that has me traveling down south to warm weather and sunshine is always enjoyable!

• What is your favorite part about working for USI?
The people. Nothing about this job would be the same without the USI team!

• What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
Definitely a cabin in the mountains. Followed closely by a nice boat.

• What was the best concert you ever attended?
Brad Paisley. He’s fantastic in concert.

• What are you passionate about?
Sports analytics and statistics.

• What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I once decided with some friends one night that the next day we were getting up and going on a trip to Texas. We had no planning and no idea what we were going to do, but we all got in the car the next day and went on a two-week vacation down south. Still one of the best trips I have ever been on.

• What are some of your pet peeves?
A lack of common sense. Sometimes people just don’t think, and that drives me wild.
