• Before working at USI what was your most unusual or interesting job that you had?
Legal Secretary.
• What are you currently binge watching?
I don’t binge watch, but I have never missed an episode of Survivor. I’ve watched over 650 episodes since 2000. I actually attended a casting call for Survivor this past June with my daughter!
• If you could have any superpower what would it be?
Super strength.
• When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Architect.
• What is one food that you cannot resist?
Cheesecake.
• Where is your favorite place to be?
Wherever my favorite people are, that’s my favorite place! In a close second, hanging in my swinging chair in my backyard.
• What is the best piece of advice that you have ever received?
“Preservation, Not Repair” – it was my dad’s motto.
• If you had 1 free hour each day, what would you do?
Enjoy nature.
• Do you have any strange phobias?
Any winged creature (birds, moths, butterflies). It’s the wing flapping that freaks me out.
• If you could add one thing to the USI office, what would it be?
Background noise LOL.
• What has been your favorite project at USI?
Solar/EV projects – it’s the way of the future!
• What is your favorite part about working for USI?
The variation of my day – no two days are the same!
• People would be surprised if they knew what about you?
I have a scar on my knee from pig wrestling at the county fair.
• What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
A RV for the ultimate road trip.
• What was the best concert you ever attended?
Florence + The Machine at Blossom in the pouring rain.
• What are you passionate about?
Trying to make the best out of every day….and giraffes!
• What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Tracked my adult daughter’s GPS on her phone because she wasn’t answering my calls and I was worried!
• What’s the best meal you’ve ever had?
Our 22nd anniversary dinner at the Stonehouse in Michigan’s UP.
• What are some of your pet peeves?
Your welcome….it’s You’re; chewed gum; people who don’t know how to merge in traffic.
